The ideal time to start an orthodontic treatment is around the age of 12 when all or most of the adult teeth have come in and the patient has begun his growth spurt. This allows orthodontic treatment to stimulate jaw growth and have a greater impact on the esthetics of the profile.<\/span><\/p>\n

After puberty, the correction of malocclusions sometimes becomes more complex. Growth spurts vary from one patient to the other.
